Steve Schaum

Steve Schaum is an amateur photographer who moved to Connecticut from New York 22 years ago. He works in IT Monday to Friday, but during his free time he takes his camera wherever he goes. “Living in New England, we have some of the greatest natural scenes—from mountains, gorges, rivers, waterfalls, and more.” He enjoys being outdoors shooting, even during the cold winters of Northwestern Connecticut. Steve has recently started doing some portrait work and family sessions. “I find that family portraits always look great outdoors—in any season. There is no better backdrop then nature itself for family photos.” He also has begun photographing weddings and events, such as a Tim Tebow sponsored event “A Night to Shine” at Faith Church in New Milford. Steve has had his work displayed at Tonio’s Panino on Bank Street in New Milford. He also is a freelance photographer for Hearst Media.
