Maple Sugaring Season
Begins at Flanders

Maple sugaring time, a New England tradition, has begun. Each year Flanders taps and collects sap from dozens of trees both at their nature center and around the town of Woodbury. The entire family will be fascinated by the maple sugar-making process at this fully-functioning Sugar House. Tapping Day is Saturday, February 2 at 9:30 am.

Maple Syrup Demonstrations: Everyone is welcomed to drop by the Sugar House as Flanders staff and volunteers will demonstrate turning the sap from over 200 trees on the property and throughout town into syrup with an entertaining mix of science, stories, and humor. Saturdays and Sundays, February 23, 24 /March 2, 3, 9, 10/ 1 – 4 pm.
 Cost is $3 per person.

Don’t miss the March 3rd. Pancake Breakfast where Flanders syrup will be served.
